Hello Neighbor

Hello Neighbor is a stealth horror game by Dynamic Pixels. This game manages to capture the feeling of being a kid again, being afraid of the dark and trying to stay up late to look for answers. The game revolves around sneaking into your neighbor’s house to find out what he is hiding in his basement. You do this by watching his movements through a small hole in the wall. There's something strange going on with this guy. But what? Where did the weird noises come from? Why does he never turn off the lights?

Gameplay

Hello Neighbor gameplay is mainly about sneaking around and avoiding detection. The game is all about finding the clues, solving puzzles and avoiding the neighbor. In the video below you can see how the player is trying to solve puzzles and find clues to get into the neighbor's house. The player can also play hide and seek with the neighbor. The game has a lot of interactive items that can be used to distract, hurt, and help the player in different situations. The player can use an RC car to distract the neighbor or use a tricycle to get across a fence. There are a lot of different ways to play this game.

Graphics

Hello Neighbor graphics are quite cartoonish, but that only adds to the atmosphere of the game. Models and textures are childish and creepy at the same time. It's a perfect combination. There are no details or subtlety, it's just simple but gorgeous.

Replayability

Hello Neighbor replayability is another issue discussed lately. The game is quite short, it took me around 6 hours to finish it. The main factor is a game's length. Replaying it won't be as fun as it was when I was still exploring it for the first time. Hello Neighbor replayability can be improved by adding new modes and changing the game's story. In my opinion, the story is quite basic and doesn't give enough space for creating new, interesting gameplay mechanics.

Conclusion

Hello Neighbor is a very nice game, but it has a couple of issues. The game is really short and can be boring to replay. The game has a lot of interesting mechanics but the story is kind of basic. I think the developers could add more interesting modes and change the story a little. In my opinion, Hello Neighbor is really good but it could be even better with a couple of improvements.
