Soon Company of Heroes 3 Will Be Released for Consoles, but Not for All

Company of Heroes 3 will be eligible for release on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 as decided by the Taiwan-based Digital Game Rating Committee. Since all the previous games in the series were only for PC, this will be a kind of debut for the RTS franchise.

The first part of Company of Heroes was released by Relic Entertainment in 2016. The game immediately appealed to fans of strategies based on historical events, since the action takes place during the Second World War. The success of the game served as a good impetus for the release of the second part of Company of Heroes 2 in 2013. And despite the fact that it was not liked by the audience as much and received mixed reviews, the release of the third part of the franchise was still long-awaited. Initially, Sega and Relic Entertainment announced the development of the game back in 2021, but then the release was scheduled for 2022, after that its date was once again moved to February 23, 2023.

The new part of the game will give the audience several new mechanics, new units, and new factions. The time period of events will still relate to the Second World War, but now the main events will take place in North Africa and Italy. Of particular note is the new tactical pause feature, which will allow you to make a series of actions that will automatically be performed after the resumption of the gameplay. The game will feature four factions, each with strengths and weaknesses. Company of Heroes 3 is a multiplayer game where you can fight both in 1v1 mode and in vivid 4v4 battles. There will also be anti-AI modes in the Italian Dynamic Campaign and North African Operation.
