It was one of the most heartbreaking moments in gaming history when fans watched as Jackie Welles bled out during V's escape from Arasaka. But, with a mod developed after the release of Cyberpunk 2077, players can now change Jackie's fate and save him from his tragic demise. 

Prior to its launch, Cyberpunk 2077 created plenty of hype as it promised to be an immersive open-world experience full of unique characters that could be interacted with. Unfortunately, when players encountered Jackie on their journey through Night City, they found out he was doomed no matter what decisions were made during the gig for Dexter DeShawn. 

After the game's release however, modders began creating ways to add more content and depth into Night City by introducing features such as flying vehicles and an interactable metro line. It didn't take long before someone came up with a way to save Jackie - allowing him to survive his brush with death at Konpeki Plaza so that he could accompany V throughout their adventure in Night City instead of sacrificing himself in vain.   

This mod proved popular among gamers who had grown attached to this beloved character since marketing for Cyberpunk heavily featured him leading up its launch date. Players wanted desperately for there to be some sort of redemption arc for this character who had been given little else than suffering due to the story’s predetermined path – but thanks to this mod they are now able give him a second chance at life!
